HAZCHEM SIGNAGE

Everyone that stores or uses hazardous substances is required under the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017 to maintain up to date Safety Data Sheets (SDS).  In addition, SDS must be readily accessible so that workers can quickly find them and understand the risks and appropriate precautions they must take when handling these substances.

To make SDS sheets readily available it is useful to store them in places where they are needed, such as the workshops, processing lines, storage areas.

Dalton International’s range of SDS holders and folders make it easy to have your SDS held in an orderly fashion at, or near where the hazardous substances are being stored or used, increasing the likelihood that employees will refer to them.

We also offer an outdoor site storage box that is designed to be placed near the entrance to you site, this weather tight box is lockable with a padlock and ideal for storing site plans, SDS, hazardous substances inventory and emergency response plans so that the fire service can access this information in an emergency.  We recommend that you leave a key to the box with your local fire service.

If you need help deciding on the best SDS holders for your situation, speak to one of the knowledgeable team at Dalton International by calling 0800 323 223 or using the chat module on the bottom right of the website.
