HAZCHEM STORAGE

Dalton International’s outdoor storage options allow you to securely store your hazardous substances outside in purpose-built DG-Stores manufactured to meet the Australian / New Zealand standards.  All outdoor storage units are weather tight, have built-in containment and are built to order allowing you to customise the unit to your needs.

Dalton International has 3 different types of Outdoor DG Storage:

  1. Outdoor Hazardous Goods Cabinets – designed to store smaller containers such as 5L, 20L and 50L. These cabinets are designed to meet the requirements of AS1940 for the storage of flammable and combustible liquids and can be modified to store other classes including, corrosives and toxic substances.
  2. Outdoor IBC / Pallet Stores – designed with larger sumps for the storage and containment of IBC tanks or Pallets with up to 4 x 208L drums per pallet.
  3. HazBox DG Containers – Modified shipping containers with built in containment sumps, vents, drains and internal latches. Available in a range of sizes, these versatile units are ideal for creating a secure DG Storage space on your site or farm.

Like all things to do with hazardous substances when it comes to storing your hazardous substances outside you need to consider more than just price. It’s also important to consider:

  • Does the storage unit meet the appropriate standards?
  • How much can I store in each unit?
  • What substances can be stored in the unit?
  • Where should I place the unit on my site?
  • Do I have the appropriate signage?
